Process, Step by Step

Step 1 — Initial Quote (24 working hours)

You email us at hello@customscreenprotectors.com with: your device model (or specifications/drawings if it's a non-standard device), target quantity, preferred material type (tempered glass, anti-glare, privacy etc.), and any compliance requirements (HIPAA, ISO, MIL-STD, etc.).

Within 24 working hours we respond with: material options matched to your application, tiered pricing across your likely quantity bands, recommended specifications based on similar projects we've delivered, and a draft project timeline. No commitment at this stage.

Step 2 — Prototype Approval (1–2 weeks)

Once you approve the quote, we manufacture a small prototype run — typically 5–10 units. These are shipped to your office for fit-testing on your actual devices. This step catches any dimensional or specification issues before we commit to volume.

You can iterate the prototype if needed (different thickness, different cut-out, different finish) before signing off. Prototype fees are nominal and credited against the production order. Sign-off on prototypes triggers the production phase.

Step 3 — Volume Production (2–4 weeks)

Volume manufacturing runs in our partnered production facility under our QC oversight. Each production lot includes:

• Dimensional testing — every protector measured against spec
• Optical testing — clarity, haze, transmission
• Stress testing — randomised drop, scratch and adhesion testing on sample units
• Documented traceability — every protector links back to its specific production lot

You receive QC documentation alongside delivery — particularly valuable for healthcare and aviation clients who need audit-trail records.

Step 4 — Delivery (1 week shipping window)

Delivery to your specification — bulk packaging, individual sleeves, or branded retail-ready boxes. Standard delivery options:

• Air freight for orders under 10,000 units (3–5 working days transit)
• Sea freight for larger orders (3–6 weeks transit, significantly cheaper per unit)
• Courier for prototypes and urgent samples (1–2 working days)

We handle customs documentation, Incoterms negotiation, and HS-code allocation. Worldwide shipping with full export paperwork.

What happens after first delivery

For most clients the relationship becomes ongoing. We hold your specification on file, so reorders skip Steps 1 and 2 entirely — you email us "we need 5,000 more of part #1234" and we go straight to production. Reorder lead times are typically 2–3 weeks shorter than first orders.

For high-volume clients (typically 50,000+ units annually), we hold safety stock on agreed buffer levels — meaning your reorders ship on next-day terms rather than building from scratch.
